DR KhadijatDr. Khadijat Kuburat Yusuf is a highly experienced Medical Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in the health sector spanning through clinical practice, leadership, public health and community based interventions, women empowerment and philanthropy, maternal and child care, national programs on Immunization etc.

She was born in Kano state Nigeria and had her early education in Kano and Zamfara states before proceeding to study Medicine and Surgery at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Kaduna State.

She worked at National hospital as a resident doctor in the department of pediatrics. She has also worked at Gwagwalada specialist hospital Abuja, as well as with the national program on immunization as an Independent Monitor to Kano, Katsina and Bauchi States during some polio eradication program on national immunization.

A committed member of rotary club Abuja, and currently the district polio chairperson come 1st July 2022 of District 9125 covering 23 states.

Dr. Khadijat is a serial award winner and is a member of so many professional, religious and humanitarian organizations. A devout Muslim and mother, she devotes her time to the advancement of the community at large. She is God fearing, reliable, and absolutely committed to her work and religion. In April 1998, she married pharmacist Yusuf Abdullah and they are blessed with three lovely children.
